POLI-LIT

“It’s an idea so simple, it’s revolutionary!”

Our Mission

“Poli-Lit strives to help students engage civically in their community, learn new innovative and effective ways of learning about their local, state, and federal political system and politicians, in the pursuit of healing the divide in our politics and country."

How we’re doing it and how can you help.

The Poli-Lit App

The Poli-Lit app is a project the team is working on to help revolutionize our political system. The app will help the youth and people all around America engage in local government and politics in an unbiased way. The way we will do this is by creating a way for people to centralize their focus on local affairs and issues, rather than focusing on and arguing on a national level. We believe that to help democracy heal we must first engage American Citizens on a local level.

University Organizations/ Chapters

On a university level, students will also engage in starting a club, hold Socratic seminars and discuss current world events and compare how they affect students on a local level. Invite and speak to local politicians. Provide resources for students to become more politically and civically engaged. Helping pursue the Poli-Lit agenda.

High School Chapters

We are currently working on helping students work on starting Poli-Lit Chapters in their High Schools. In the Poli-Lit clubs, students will engage in conversations about current events, invite and speak to local elected officials, and provide resources to become politically engaged.

LANA will be an AI chat bot integrated into the Polilit.org website. This chat bot will allow the user to enter their zip code and get quick information on local government and civic opportunities. LANA will also give the data and information on their local representatives, legislation, and community.
