Adrian M. Gonzalez is the founder and CEO of Poli-Lit, Inc., a nonpartisan civic education nonprofit focused on representation literacy helping individuals understand who represents them and how government functions at the local, state, and national levels.

Adrian founded Poli-Lit after years of involvement in student-led civic education initiatives, recognizing a consistent gap between political engagement and understanding of representation. His work emphasizes education, research, and clarity while highlighting innovative practice and execution rather than advocacy or political outcomes.

  • Founder and President of the Poli-Lit CSUSB student organization chapter

  • Former headboard member of Supervisor/former Congressman Paul Cook’s Youth Advisory Council, focused on public service and community engagement

  • Served on local youth advisory panels in San Bernardino County

  • Currently studying Political Science and Philosophy at California State University, San Bernardino


Co-CEO/Co-Founder, & Secretary, Timothy M.L. Mount

Timothy M. L. Mount is Co-CEO, Co-Founder, and Secretary of Poli-Lit. He plays a key role in organizational governance, documentation, and strategic development, supporting Poli-Lit’s focus on nonpartisan civic education and research.

Associate, Hayley E.J Smith

Hayley E. J. Smith is an Associate with Poli-Lit and has been involved with the organization since its early student-led origins. Her work supports Poli-Lit’s mission to expand civic understanding and promote representation literacy through educational engagement.

Christian G. Garcia serves as Chief Marketing Officer and Co-Chief Financial Officer of Poli-Lit, where he oversees branding, outreach strategy, and marketing operations across digital and campus platforms.

His work focuses on building accessible, professional communication that supports Poli-Lit’s educational mission and public presence.
